Leicester City: Foxes are ‘back to their best’ insists Marc Albrighton
By Jake Cursley
Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton believes the foxes are back to their usual best ahead of Saturday’s trip to Anfield in the Premier League.
A rocky start to the season has seen Leicester City grab 4 points from a possible 9 after losing to Hull City on their opening day.

During their defeat the foxes looked far from the title winning form they showed us last season, however Marc Albrighton believes they are now there after the international break.
With many of the squad remaining in the East Midlands during the break, Claudio Ranieri’s men have had the chance the galvanise the team after an eventful and positive summer transfer window.
In their last two games, Leicester have beaten Swansea City as well as holding off London giants Arsenal to a goalless draw. Arsenal were the only team to beat the foxes twice last season.
Leicester only had three defeats last season, two to Arsenal, another to Liverpool away at Anfield.
Speaking to the media, Albrighton said:
"“We followed up the Arsenal performance with another hard-working performance against Swansea, which is what we are all about”"
"“It was disappointing against Hull. Not just the result but more so the performance because we never showed up and we didn’t do what got us to what we achieved last season. We have bounced back, as we always seem to do.”"
"“It is nice to see the lads are signing their contracts and Jamie Vardy is off the mark. Riyad (Mahrez) has also got himself a goal and hopefully we can keep progressing as we have done, and keep those two on top form”"
The 26 year old winger will feel hard done by due to the fact that he was left out of Sam Allardyce’s first England squad.
After his astonishing form last season and the lack of true wingers in the England squad, many expected Albrighton to be given the nod.

Instead, West Ham’s Michail Antonio was selected by ‘Big Sam’, despite not appearing against Slovakia.
Other players that traveled but didn’t appear were Leicester’s very own Danny Drinkwater and Jamie Vardy.
Fans were outraged as neither played despite the match screaming out for both players’ qualities on the ball.
England needed somebody that could play that killer ball through a packed defence, a player like Danny and a prolific goalscorer like Vardy to finish it off.

Should Marc continue his form this season, Sam Allardyce will surely have a thing or two to think about when it comes to his selection.
