"The response has been great. The books are selling like hot cakes. We know Jamie is a big local hero and that demand would be strong.”"
"“We only have a 100 of the signed copies so it’s first come first served but people can reserve a copy by paying over the phone if they call us on 2516838.”"
"“We do have lots of unsigned copies too.”"
Jamie Vardy’s book has gathered a lot of interest from the general public due to his story being so relatable.
Being an average working class man from Sheffield, nobody could have foreseen his unprecedented rise to the top of the football food chain.
Vardy has gone from earning just £30 a week playing part-time at Stocksbridge Park Steels whilst juggling between football and his main source of income, factory work.
He is now a Premier League winner and has just earned himself a £130,000 per week contract following speculation of a move to the London giants Arsenal.
Sean Hamilton from The Sun commented on Vardy’s book, saying:
"“Jamie Vardy’s searingly honest warts and all account of his rise from football’s lowest foothills to the Premier League summit has been the talk of football.”"
