Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell

Both Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell have stormed onto the football scene in the past season and have made their way into England’s U21 team.

With Liverpool’s interest in Ben’s services he soon put his foot down and showed his desire to stay at Leicester City by signing a brand new contract.

More from Foxes of Leicester

Demarai Gray has been a regular substitute for Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri and the silver lining on a very dark cloud during Leicester’s 4 – 1 thrashing by Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United after scoring a beauty from distance.

Gray was the star man again last night, scoring England’s only goal against the Kazakstan U21’s.

A slick counter-attack involving Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Southampton’s Nathan Redmond and James Ward-Prowse was finished neatly by Demarai Gray.

England U21 coach Aidy Boothroyd spoke after the game saying:

"“Redmond did very well and Demarai took his goal very well,”"

"“That is what this group are capable of. This is another stamp in their passport learning to deal with coming away and doing a job.”"
