The afternoon when Jamie Vardy took centerstage and burst onto the scene. Manchester United came to the King Power Stadium as heavy favourites with all of those mega-money signings and an incredible squad, at least on paper. Everything was going to plan for Louis Van Gaal’s United, with the visitors leading 3-1 at the 57th minute-mark and threatening to pull clear. Of course, Leicester had other ideas.

Nigel Pearson’s Foxes then staged a comeback to be remembered for decades, tearing the Reds’ defence to pieces in a riveting onslaught as Jamie Vardy petrified the giants of English football. It was all a bit frightening, a bit fearsome and yes, fearless. Leicester were here to stay.
