Craig Shakespeare has decided to have both the new signings Harry Maguire and Vicente Iborra on board, while there’s also the noteworthy inclusion of a young trio. Here’s the squad in full:
Goalkeepers
Ben Hamer, Kasper Schmeichel.
Defenders
Yohan Benalouane, Callum Elder, Christian Fuchs, Harry Maguire, Elliott Moore, Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson. (No Robert Huth, mind you).
Midfielders
Marc Albrighton, Daniel Amartey, Harvey Barnes, Danny Drinkwater, Vicente Iborra, Matty James, Andy King, Tom Lawrence, Riyad Mahrez, Wilfred Ndidi.
Forwards
Ahmed Musa, Shinji Okazaki, Islam Slimani, Leonardo Ulloa, Jamie Vardy.
Riyad Mahrez’s inclusion comes as a surprise to almost everyone after the speculation that has surrounded the 26-year old since the start of the summer.
The 26-year old issued a statement about a couple of months back, following which, he has found his name linked to a numbe of top clubs, though none of them except A.S. Roma has made an official approach as of now.

The Italian giants have had a £20 million bid rejected by Leicester City earlier today; however, reports in Italy also suggest that Roma have agreed personal terms with Riyad Mahrez.
With things going as they are, Mahrez’s stay in China may as well be cut short.
