The transfer window has only just been shut down, but the Demarai Gray rumours just aren’t dying, with fresh reports suggesting he could be on his way out in January.

The young Englishman has cut a frustrated figure in recent times, publicly making his desire to play more be known. However, Demarai Gray is yet to be handed a start this season, further encouraging his suitors to try and tempt him away.

An obvious lack of playing time has been something of a pattern since his move to Leicester City from Birmingham City back in January 2016. The 21-year old has made 42 Premier League appearances so far, though he has started a mere 10 games.

The England Under-21 international seemed destined for a move away from the King Power Stadium during the summer, with Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth showing significant interest in his services.

The Cherries are reported to have offered a massive £28 million for Demarai Gray, about £25 million more than what Leicester City initially paid to sign him from the Championship. The money, however, didn’t change Craig Shakespeare’s mind, who still maintains that he wants to keep him.

Despite the gaffer’s stance, Bournemouth are believed to be keeping an eye on Gray’s situation, and shall matters continue to be as they are, Leicester City may end up losing this battle.

Another player who could be heading towards the exit door in the winter is Riyad Mahrez. A number of English clubs still reportedly interested in him, the 26-year may get his wish sooner rather than later.
