Riyad Mahrez’s man of the match performance after a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in midweek is a sign for worry as the transfer window draws nearer. The winger has already set the record straight about his future endeavours, and it’s certain that he won’t stay at the King Power Stadium for too long.

The 26-year old is well and truly performing at the expected level, and that might attract the attention of a number of clubs, meaning that the possibility of him leaving in January is even higher now.

Although Claude Puel has been trying to maintain that Mahrez will stay in January, no one is sure if he will.
