Jamie Vardy 7/10

He has now scored seven goals in his last five games against Liverpool – the most he has against any Premier League side

Took his goal well, even if it was harder to miss, caused mischief on the counter-attack and worked himself into the ground.

He earned his rest as he was substituted for Islam Slimani.

Substitutes

Shinji Okazaki 6/10

Provided a different outlet which is what he was bought on to do. Squeezed a chance out of nothing and was close to being played through despite a crucial interception via Robertson.

Islam Slimani 6/10

Didn’t really feel the pace of the game when he came on and being utilised as a sub, he really needs to.

Matty James

Came on too late to warrant a rating. Good to see him back, his first appearance since September 9th against Chelsea.
