Leicester City left ruing missed chances again

A draw is by no means a bad result for Leicester City, especially at a venue like Stamford Bridge, but there is little doubt about the fact that it’s a game they should have won. The Foxes probably had their best start to a Premier League game this season, one that should have produced at least a couple of goals.

While Leicester City set a record for most shots by a visiting team in the first-half of a game at the Bridge since 2003-04 (12), only one of them was on target, with Thibaut Courtois only having to save Wilfred Ndidi’s header.

Had Leicester been more clinical – something that we’ve said following most of their defeats and draws – then they could have easily secured their first away win against the Blues since 2000.
