La Liga clubs Leganes and Levante are both interested in signing Leonardo Ulloa from Leicester City, as reported by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

The Argentine has for long been a forgotten name at Leicester City, and especially since the start of this season. Ulloa has made just seven appearances (two starts) in 2017/18, recording two assists in the process.

Leonardo Ulloa endured similar fortunes last season too as he managed to start four of the 24 games he featured in across all competitions, finding the net just once all season. However, despite being mostly out of favour, the 31-year old signed a contract extension at the club, keeping him at the King Power Stadium till 2019.

But it seems like it might finally be the end of what he’ll remember as a successful spell at Leicester City, with Aston Villa being joined by La Liga outfits Leganes and Levante in the former Brighton and Hove Albion striker’s pursuit.

Leonardo Ulloa has previously tried to force a move away from the East Midlands after falling out with Claudio Ranieri. He had all but sealed a £7.5 million transfer to Sunderland, though it fell apart at the last moment, something that he openly expressed his disappointment at.

Ulloa made up for his behaviour soon after, earning the faith of Craig Shakespeare at the time, but the promises made departed with the sacking of the Englishman. Safe to say, Claude Puel has given him no false hopes whatsoever, as the Frenchman has made clear in a number of press conferences.
