Brighton and Hove Albion will look to ensure Premier League safety as they take on Leicester City at the Amex Stadium on Saturday. Here’s a look at what they have been up to so far:

Team News

Brighton and Hove Albion will be without former Leicester City winger Anthony Knockeart after his red card against Everton, while on-loan Leonardo Ulloa is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Jiri Skalak, Steve Sidwell and Isaiah Brown are also out with injuries, though the Seagulls might welcome back Dale Stephens (doubtful) and Gaetan Bong, who has been out of action with a thigh injury.

Recent form

Chris Hughton’s side are on a run of three successive league victories at home (lost just one of their last six), beating West Ham United 3-1, Swansea City 4-1 and Arsenal 2-1 to add to what is currently the eight best home record.

The Seagulls have lost just three of their 15 Premier League games at home season, losing only to Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, which says a lot about how good they are when competing against sides outside of the top six.

Main Man

Glenn Murray is without a doubt the man to terrify a Leicester City defence that has struggled to defend set-pieces. Despite have two gigantic centre-backs in Harry Maguire and Wes Morgan, the Foxes have found it really tough to deal with dead ball deliveries, and Murray may make them pay a heavy price for that.

The 34-year old has scored 11 times in the Premier League so far, scoring five goals in the last five games. Four of those strikes have come in the last three home games alone.

What the boss has to say

"“We also have some very difficult games in our last eight,” said Chris Hughton.“We know how difficult it can be and we have to make sure we secure our status as quick as possible. We would be no different to any one of the other 10, 11 teams around us.”"
