Leicester City joined by Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Jack Grealish
Tottenham Hotspur have joined Leicester City in the race to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa – that’s according to the Sky Sources.
Spurs are the latest in a long line of clubs wanting to sign the 22-year old, with North London rivals Arsenal, Manchester United and Fulham also interested.
The Englishman wasn’t a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s transfer plans for the summer, but Aston Villa’s financial situation has given their hopes of a potential bargain a huge boost.
Tottenham Hotspurs’ involvement would only make matters even tough for Leicester City, who are eyeing both Norwich City’s James Maddison and Jack Grealish. While they are leading the race for Norwich midfielder, the latter seems to be slipping out of their hands.

The Foxes are yet to approach the Villans about a transfer, and the delay may well cost them a very good player who can easily be one of the league’s finest in the next couple of years or so.
Grealish was Aston Villa’s unrivalled best last season, scoring three goals and assisting eight in 34 appearances (all competitions). Though the numbers aren’t as good as someone like Maddison, those who watched him have no doubts about the fact that he was playing on a level that’s not too common in the Sky Bet Championship.
