Claudio Ranieri has been appointed Fulham’s new boss after Slavisa Jokanovic was relieved of duty. How did Twitter react to Leicester City’s former manager’s new job:
Claudio Ranieri achieved the beautifully miraculous with Leicester City, as the Foxes won the Premier League in 2015/16. Thanks to inheriting a solid core team from previous gaffer Nigel Pearson’s managerial stint. Then, the Italian galvanised and guided the East Midlands side to the Premier League title.
Now, the 67-year-old is the new Fulham boss, following Slavisa Jokanovic’s sacking. These are the best instant reactions from Twitter:
"Always, I look forward and want more. I hope to do a very good job here."

Fulham announced Jokanovic’s departure at the same time the West Londoners inducted Ranieri. A slightly unusual, yet decisive move.

Leicester City face the Whites at Craven Cottage in Ranieri’s third match in charge – in what is sure to be a cracking contest.
Fulham feel like they’ve gradually drifted from everything they did well last season. There’s no distinction to how they play at the moment. Against Huddersfield they looked listless.

Anyway, Ranieri appointed. Drinkwater on loan in January and the title is theirs.
Will the Roman attempt to lure some former Leicester City players under his control once again? Yes, yes he will.
Claudio Ranieri getting the Fulham job. Disgrace. Young, up-and-coming British managers like Sam Allardyce, David Moyes and Alan Pardew out there struggling for work.

A quite brilliant tweet from Paddy Power – they certainly do not always get it right.
Tempted to bring in any Fulham players with the arrival of Claudio Ranieri?#FPL https://t.co/Mr8NRmPt9X

In all honesty, Andre Schurrle has been on this writer’s radar in Fantasy Premier League for some time now, this new development may be the deciding factor. When a new premiership manager arrives at a struggling club, they always seem to receive a boost and results follow. That is, even if it all ends in disaster then relegation, eventually. Just avoid Fulham’s defenders!
New @FulhamFC Manager Claudio Ranieri is the only Italian to have taken charge of over 200 @premierleague games.

Sky Sports have a great fact here; although, experience is important at the London club but not essential.

What a statistic; in addition, Ranieri once signed his predecessor, how ironic.
Claudio Ranieri is back in the Premier League with Fulham.

*Puts bet on Fulham winning the league in 19/20.*
Fulham for the title; currently 5000-1 odds. That is the same as Leicester City began in 2015/16.
"We will never give up."

Claudio Ranieri says Fulham will not give up in their fight to avoid relegation. #FFC currently sit bottom of the league having taken just five points from 12 games.

There will be no dull moments either.
I know this Brexit deal feels like a shambles, but we really should trust that Claudio Ranieri will sort it out.

Claudio for President, of the world.

For good reason, SoccerAM.
Can’t expect Ranieri to perform another miracle. I’ll settle for a Champions League place this season. #ffc

Yeah, that’s more realistic, Dave…

And so the transfer rumours begin.
Ranieri spent his latest stint as manager with Nantes in France. He left in May 2018, following an undesired finishing position. Foxes of Leicester wish him good luck with the Cottagers.
