Expected starting lineup, score prediction for Crystal Palace v Leicester City
Crystal Palace welcome Leicester City to Selhurst Park this weekend for a Premier League clash. How will the Foxes lineup against the Eagles and what is the likely result:
Thursday brought some good news to the Leicester City faithful, as Claude Puel confirmed the availability of vital defender Harry Maguire and main striker Jamie Vardy, for the Crystal Palace match Saturday.
Although, some bad news came as Ben Chilwell missed training and is likely to be unavailable for the Eagles contest. Puel said the England international faces assessment ahead of the South London game. Yet, it appears the left-back has a capable understudy in – the former master of his pupil – Christian Fuchs.
Bad news turned into a dreaded report, as the 21-year-old highly rated – Arsenal and Liverpool were formerly interested and known admirers – player was linked to the impeccable Pep Guardiola side at Manchester City. Their main left-sided defender, Benjamin Mendy, is out injured, again; and is said to cause Guardiola many off-the-field issues, per Mirror Sport.

Leicester City predicted starting lineup
Leicester’s French gaffer will most likely start with a 4-2-3-1, as usual. However, we recommend a three-centre-back partnership; due partly to Chilwell’s absence. This way Caglar Soyuncu can continue his decent progress with newly invigorated captain Wes Morgan. Along with Maguire returning to the beginning side.
Alas, the 57-year-old boss generally, predictably retains his usual setup. Additionally to the four defenders, the rest of the team is extremely self-explanatory; almost picking itself. Albeit in our team Maddison is a central No.10, Marc Albrighton takes the left-wing and Demarai Gray starts on the right-wing:
Kasper Schmeichel; Fuchs, Maguire, Morgan, Ricardo Pereira; Papy Mendy, Wilfred Ndidi; Albrighton, Maddison, Gray; Vardy.
Foxes of Leicester predict another score draw – or bore draw, if you listen to the ‘Puel out’ faction of the Blue Army; with a result of 1-1. Jamie Vardy will finally score from open play for Leicester once again; though Palace will struggle to net without Wilfried Zaha or Christian Benteke. To be honest, the Eagles need a win more desperately than the Foxes; while, it can be argued their aspirations are different: survival as opposed to European qualification.
