Manchester City are beatable

Leicester City’s win over Chelsea should make them feel confident ahead of Wednesday’s game, but more encouraging should be Manchester City’s 3-2 defeat against Crystal Palace the other day. A very short while back, we were all thinking that Pep Guardiola’s perfectionists will romp to another title win, but there aren’t many left who would agree upon that anymore.

The champions have lost two of their last three Premier League games and are four points off leaders Liverpool. Now under more pressure to get a win than most weeks, there are chances that City might not be at the top of their game on Wednesday. If you are Puel, you’d be thinking, “Hang on, we can actually win this one!”

Indeed, there are points on offer when the Citizens visit the King Power Stadium. The key for Leicester, however, would be to not try to do anything differently to what they did yesterday. They’ve just got to be patient in sitting back and defending for larger periods in the game. The longer they keep the ball out of their net, the more their chances will grow of striking a knockout blow.

If Leicester can get even a point out of this one, then Puel would have certainly turned a corner.
