Bradley Dack

Beyond the likes of Youri Tielemans and Maddison, very few of Leicester’s first-team squad can operate in an attacking midfield role. Therefore, a player of Bradley Dack’s style and quality would be a worthy addition to the Foxes.

The 25-year-old currently has an impressive 12 goals and six assists to his name in the Championship this season, and has previously been linked with a move to the King Power. He is a tenacious but creative player, two traits that would surely endear him to the Leicester City faithful. Dack has previously been compared with Frank Lampard by ex-Leicester boss, Ian Holloway, on SkySports.

According to reports in the Mirror, Dack would cost an estimated £20 million, with West Ham and Crystal Palace showing interest. Although this figure may look steep for a Championship player,  James Maddison has certainly justified the hefty fee that brought him to Leicester almost one year ago.

If City are unsuccessful in their pursuit of Youri Tielemans on a permanent deal this summer, the Blackburn midfielder may be a cheaper alternative. For instance, this season, Dack has averaged one key pass and 1.4 completed dribbles, underlining his suitability to play in an advanced midfield role, stats via WhoScored.

With Blackburn currently in 16th place in the Championship, the lure of a Premier League move could prove essential in persuading Dack to join the Foxes. Also, since the departure of Riyad Mahrez last summer, Leicester have lacked goals from midfield. Dack’s record for Blackburn suggests that he could step up and register a respectable tally in the Premier League.
