There is some excellent news for Foxes supporters to wake up to today, Ben Chilwell and James Maddison are reportedly remaining Leicester City players for next season.

To be totally honest, this off-season could be a complete disaster due to possibly losing many star players. There are also permutations which could make it one of the most constructive in Leicester City history. Keeping Ben Chilwell and James Maddison would go along way to making this a great pre-season.

Harry Maguire is also a target for significant Premier League sides, FoL understand. Yet, Foxes of Leicester expect the England international to reject Manchester United’s advances again, thankfully for the Foxes faithful. Then there is just the monumental issue of Manchester City’s interest in the defender.

Bolstering the team with notably brilliant signings is the other factor to send the Foxes into ascendancy this term. A quality backup right-back; a world-class, or primed to be top-quality, right-winger; and a forward to challenge Jamie Vardy’s monopoly on the solo striker position is overdue too. These measures would ensure Leicester competing for sixth position in the Premier League.

Chilwell and Maddison staying at Leicester City?

Here is the usually reliable Leicester Mercury:

"…the Mercury understands Chilwell is not looking to leave this summer despite the speculation and, according to reports, Maddison has indicated he is also happy at City and could even be willing to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract."

This is a particularly wonderful update for the Blue Army. New Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers is refining his promising project at Leicester; these two players are very important elements of the system. Vital in fact.

The Sun reported this about Maddison on Thursday:

"JAMES MADDISON has told Leicester chiefs he is happy at the King Power – despite increased speculation linking him with four of the biggest clubs in the Premier League."

Any athlete, or employee in other intends environments, naturally strive to achieve greatness – along with the highest recognition and increased wages. Therefore the Leicester supporters can understand if their starlets depart for superpower clubs, disappointing as that is. However, one of the most encouraging atmospheric times at King Power Stadium is now influential on a more noticeable scale.
