Brendan Rodgers recently spoke to Sky Sports about a whole host of topics and players. Focus here is on the eventual return to football for Leicester City.

Here at Foxes of Leicester we have a refined taste and take on matters. Bearing in mind that it has been six weeks since global football was suspended – apart from the peculiar Estonian league – let us say this: AAAAAAAAAGH. There, I’ve got the frustration out of my system, now we can carry on with Leicester City business.

A whole month of isolation has just flown by. It really hasn’t; though watching best goal videos and historical Foxes documentaries has helped. Before the season took a hiatus, things couldn’t have been going a lot better for the East Midlands side: third in the Premier League behind superpowers Manchester City as well as leaders Liverpool.

Then there is the fact that Champions League qualification was extremely likely, even with the reemergence of Manchester United as somewhat of a force. Furthermore, the Leicester squad seems enamoured with one another as team-mates; their respect and admiration for boss Brendan Rodgers enables them to gel to an even further extent.

Rodgers also talked preparation for an inevitable, eventual football comeback: Leicester are now planning forward. Albeit times are difficult but he is concentrating on organisation for his players in regard of fitness. Scheduling and time management for the return is especially important to the gaffer. Not to mention emphasis being placed on the possibility of a quick turnaround between games.
