Luka Jovic, allegedly available for £30 million, is less likely to sign for Leicester City since AC Milan and Chelsea joined transfer race.

Goals haven’t been hard to come by for Leicester City as a general average over the season. For example, the Foxes have outscored a revitalized, dangerous Manchester United. Along with surpassing attack-minded Chelsea’s scoring total in the Premier League, overall.

Jamie Vardy is also the top goalscorer in the English top-flight, with a brilliant total so far of 23. Which places the former England striker ahead of Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who’s on 20; as well as Southampton hitman Danny Ings and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, each with 19. Not to mention Vardy currently beating Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero.

Nevertheless, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed to media last week that the East Midlanders are seeking to add to their forward-thinking options during this summer transfer window. Many potential signings have been linked with the club.

Some of whom would be perfect fits: including Odsonne Edouard, who is currently with Rodgers’ old club Celtic. Brentford winger Said Benrahma is another who the Foxes faithful would love to see commit.

Luka Jovic to Leicester City?

However, if you believe the latest speculation on Leicester and their targets, the most recent strong connection is apparently Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic. Jovic, a Serbian international, is unwanted by Los Blancos after a return of two finishes in 25 appearances.

Although, the Northern Irish gaffer is understood to believe Jovic’s fortunes could change at King Power Stadium. Unfortunately the reported interest of Chelsea and now AC Milan in the player will make securing his signature far more difficult for the Foxes.
