Leicester City may now be on the verge of losing a much needed transfer target, if he is signs for Burnley or Brighton & Hove Albion.

Over recent weeks, subsequent to the much anticipated return of English top-flight football, it is evident that Leicester City require more attacking flair, competence and options.

Obviously the injured James Maddison provides as much as he can. Right-back Ricardo Pereira would immediately make the Foxes seem more of a threat, in his very contemporary capacity.

To be honest, without any intended offence to the youthful defender, the Blue Army were expecting more from James Justin with regards to forward-thinking. Maybe he is nervous or even out of his depth/element in the Premier League? Who knows. I must admit I believe there is more to come from the promising, former Luton Town man.

In all honesty, a couple of weeks ago I wasn’t entirely sure giving Liverpool’s Adam Lallana a bumper deal was ideal for Leicester City. Especially when a two-year contract was suggested; regardless of the former England man being available for free.

Following the restart, it is plain to see that the East Midlands outfit require more depth. If you believe the latest transfer rumours, Leicester have made a substantial offer to Lallana.

However, apparently the Reds player has now opened talks with EPL sides Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley. More can be read at Football Insider. The story is also carried by Leicestershire Live.
