We are now only two weeks away from the 2020/21 Premier League season, and Leicester City have still signed no players at all. FoL rates the Foxes transfer rumours.

Right, as I say, we’ll address Leicester City rumours along with updates in this article on Friday afternoon. So, let’s begin with the transfer news… OK that’s all the confirmed incoming player details at this point. There’s nothing to report, as you probably guessed from my transparent sarcasm.

However, Leicester City are now linked with between 45-50 speculated purchases during this summer window. With, as said, no concrete information whatsoever, presently. I won’t go into the worried feeling among the King Power side’s supporters at the moment.

Although, they will be pleased to hear that there are unconfirmed rumblings that Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico will be signing for Leicester soon. We shall see, with regard to that conjecture.

Rating latest Leicester City transfer rumours

Matt Target – 20% likelihood

Daily Star‘s claim that Aston Villa left-back Matt Targett is the target of a possible Leicester bid seems fanciful. They say a three-man shortlist has been drawn up; but do not specify who those defenders are. The 24 year old is a decent player, no doubt. But the Foxes should be aiming a bit higher.

Bryan Mbeumo – 50%

Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is another of the most recently linked to the East Midlanders by sports media. It’s true, the Frenchman is a right-winger and suits the vacancy for someone superbly productive in that area. Not to mention having 23 goal involvements in last season’s Championship. Nevertheless, again, he may not be the ideal candidate despite his obvious talent.

City fans desire a higher-profile wingman: an athlete to rival Riyad Mahrez’s skill set and achievements. I am unsure Mbeumo is that performer. He is a possible last minute choice, with no disrespect intended, if initial selections are declined.

Luis Suarez – 1%

Suarez moving to Leicestershire seemed like a joke to much of the Blue Army that I interacted with online. However, the speculation of interest might not be as crazy as upon first impression – but signing the Spaniard is. Read our in-depth analysis here.
