Leicester to rival Juventus, Ajax for Barcelona’s Luis Suarez
Leicester City are planning a shcok move for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, with Juventus and Ajax also interested in the Uruguayan.
As you can imagine, when I saw this latest Leicester City transfer rumour I was taken aback. Just ever so slightly. To be totally honest, when you read a headline which combines clubs such as the Foxes with players such as Barcelona superstar, Luis Suarez, it immediately appears as rubbish. Hearsay, or fanciful speculation.
However, with Blaugrana’s awful current status anything is possible, along with a mass exodus seeming likely at Camp Nou. Obviously superclubs are more suitable to stars of this magnitude; not just with regard to reputation but for the enormous wage bill that is intertwined with sourcing what was once one of the best attackers in the world.
Then there is the special relationship between Suarez and the King Power team boss, Brendan Rodgers. Rodgers was the Uruguayan’s gaffer at Liverpool when they were within touching distance of lifting the Premier League trophy. Yet when Suarez was at Anfield, he had a wonderful period: scoring 69 goals and supplying 23 assists in only 110 English top-flight appearances. He apparently enjoyed his time in England with Rodgers, as well. The latter endeared himself to his athlete by initially conversing in Spanish.
And now, rumour has reared its intriguing face once again with the Uruguay man allegedly unwanted and at odds with Barcelona deity, Lionel Messi.

Suarez is supposedly wanted by Juventus, Ajax and Leicester, as turmoil engulfs Barca. At this point that is every detail from these rumours from Spain’s media.
