Following the fantastic news that Leicester City supporters will be allowed to watch Europa League games in the flesh, the Foxes now have more great news.

Thank the Lord – three Leicester City stars were been pictured back in full training. James Maddison, Wilfred Ndidi and Ayoze Perez have returned to competitive practice.

Foxes of Leicester are unsure if any of the trio will be fit and available for selection for the friendly versus Blackburn Rovers, on Saturday. Yet it is an extremely positive update.

The ageing but still impressive full-back Christian Fuchs is also back in action at Belvoir Drive. However, Ricardo Pereira remains in the gym building his fitness, along with Daniel Amartey.

Optimism to return for Leicester City

While there is continuous worry amongst the majority of the faithful whom I’ve interacted with, aspects of pre-season are now beginning to come to fruition. Things are looking up for the Blue Army. Let’s keep the faith; whilst hoping for marquee signings in the form of a winger and a left-back. Although, the chances of those arriving but being of a lesser quality which suits the bench, is more plausible.

Leicester fans were particularly spoiled on Thursday. First of all the announcement that some of them will be allowed into the King Power Stadium for home Europa League matches emerged. Then came updates on Instagram about Maddison, Ndidi as well as Perez being on the mend and past the most difficult stages of their injuries. And finally, the East Midlanders confirmed that Belgium international, Timothy Castagne, has joined the club.
