Three forgotten Leicester City players have been informed that they have no futures and can leave the Foxes. The trio are assessed by FoL.

While the in favour players of the Leicester City roster gear up for a tough yet exciting campaign, Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers has explained how three previously high profile signings are allowed to leave. In fact, the senior trio have all already been loaned out, with no futures at the club.

Islam Slimani

Algeria striker Islam Slimani has always been a square peg for a round, Jamie Vardy-shaped hole in the King Power team. He wasn’t favoured by other bosses and now he’s in an even more unfavourable position under the Northern Irishman.

Rodgers doesn’t field tall target men. And that’s that. Slimani should’ve been assisted in finding a new side years ago.

Adrien Silva

Let’s just say this: Adrien Silva should never have been bought by Leicester, and nobody deserves to go through the 14-second debacle that almost ruined his entire career. Good luck to the talented Portuguese who didn’t suit the outfit.

Rachid Ghezzal

Ghezzal, another Algerian, never looked composed or confident for the Foxes. Naturally, as an elite professional, he is supremely skilled. However, some athletes cannot translate that to the top-level, especially in the Premier League.

During Friday’s pre-West Bromwich Albion press conference, Rodgers also hinted that he was unsatisfied with the level of depth in the squad. Not to mention its size and the negative impact that element will have on the side as they strive to achieve in four important competitions.
