Brendan Rodgers has provided an injury update on Leicester City star Jamie Vardy. Thankfully the recovery period isn’t too long.

If you didn’t fancy paying the very unfair seeming £14.99 extra for the Leicester City and Aston Villa match on Sunday evening, then you had a result. Unlike the Foxes.

Fruitless attacking, strange substitutions, a lack of game management and perplexed seeming players was the order of the game for Brendan Rodgers‘ men, especially after the initial 30 minutes or so of satisfactory and dangerous appearing play.

Ultimately Villa arguably deserved the win more than City, because of said reasons. Unfortunately the misfiring or unadventurous forward-thinking moves are more of a problem than just dropping three points to a rival team.

Jamie Vardy injury diagnosis for Leicester City

A 3-0 loss to West Ham United was subsequent to the Villans winning 1-0 at King Power Stadium. One aspect for that reversal in Leicester form following three victorious fixtures, is the amount of injuries sustained to crucial starting personnel.

Although this excuse doesn’t excuse the Northern Irishman at the helm for making peculiar choices in style, system etcetera, it does, however, add reasoning for a change in overall displays or points gained.

Sadly talismanic striker and general leader of the side, Jamie Vardy, is unavailable for the Europa League contest against Ukrainian outfit FC Zorya Luhansk on Thursday. Yet, thankfully, the former England international may be fit for the Premier League visit to Arsenal this weekend.

Now that the playmaker has a higher profile as well as previously making some naive decisions, Maddison has his detractors. The boss implored the 23 year old to enjoy his football and to ignore the created narratives.
