New Leicester City loanee Cengiz Under wants a permanent transfer, while the Foxes are apparently targeting a Championship winger.

Leicester City supporters only caught a glimpse of the rather frantic seeming Cengiz Under in the 3-0 defeat to West Ham United. The less said about that match the better; as a mediocre Premier League outfit were able to come to Leicestershire and look like leaders.

Judging the winger from one brief substitute appearance in a big loss is naturally redundant. But the Turk showed directness and positive attributes in his maiden feature. Under was also unrefined in areas: pulling crosses back too far or over-hitting them.

However, with more time and a starting role, Foxes of Leicester certainly feels confident about the eventual influential contributions the Turkish international can offer. And he definitely feels content in the East Midlands – Under says he’d like to make his stay permanent:

"“I am where I dreamt to be. I am happy to be at Leicester City. Hopefully, I will be permanent in the Premier League.”"

Leicester City still interested in player

Daily Mail reports that David Brooks could be moving to a host of Premier League sides before the close of the Championship transfer window. Leicester are apparently joined by Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur in eyeing Bournemouth’s creative wingman. Obviously Brooks is far too adept to be playing in the second English division – he would be welcomed back to the top-flight by neutrals.

The Cherries consider themselves able to keep the player, therefore they are demanding £40 million. It is extremely unlikely that the south coast team will receive that fee from the Foxes. Yet the Welshman would be a good addition at King Power Stadium; although, with Under already there, it feels unfeasible.
