The uninspiring reign of Demarai Gray as Leicester City’s perennial underachiever may be coming to an end. Gray is being linked with a Premier League switch as we enter the final few days of the 2020 summer transfer window.

And this is not the first time the Birmingham-born forward has been connected with an exit from the East Midlands club. Tottenham Hotspurs are also said to be interested in Gray; apparently former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was keen, as well as current Lilywhites gaffer Jose Mourinho.

Obviously if Gray leaves Filbert Way for London, he won’t be a starting player for Mourinho, unless there is an intense uplift in quality exhibited and consistency shown. That, with respect to the athlete, is a tough feat after what Leicester fans have witnessed.
