Premier League will discuss scrapping pay-per-view televised viewing, while Leicester City’s training ground is really taking shape.

Thankfully for fans who can’t afford to watch the pay-per-view matches and supporters who have more important things to spend the money on, it appears that Premier League bosses may relent on their much censured joint decision with broadcasters Sky Sports and BT Sport. It will be discussed, at least.

If you want my opinion along with this great news, which I guess you’re here for, then here goes. The EPL and both television channels should be ashamed of the implication of Box Office games at the time of a national health crisis.

I arrived at this stance because the majority of industries have been affected, but EPL and stations are still earning. In fact, everyone now must have a standard subscription to watch any contests, anyway. Therefore they are charging the public twice, when the league, Sky and BT still have earning capacity.

Leicester City training complex taking shape

Had the awful coronavirus not taken hold of the globe, then the Foxes squad would probably have already switched training grounds. However, knock on effects have delayed the opening of the new state-of-the-art complex.

Yet the building continues and now instillation begins of presumably some of the last materials to arrive, the gym equipment. Here’s hoping.

Foxes of Leicester can’t wait to see players like Ricardo Pereira, James Maddison and the entire roster settling in to the fresh facility. This operation will place the King Power team’s program on a level with the world’s leading football clubs.

While speaking of brilliant Foxes, after the win versus Arsenal Brendan Rodgers suggested that match-winner Jamie Vardy is world-class and that he is fortunate to have the former England man in his team. This was seen on Sky Sports’ coverage of the clash in north London.
