How Leicester should line-up against Liverpool in Premier League
This is how Foxes of Leicester envisage Leicester City lining-up against Liverpool in their upcoming Premier League match on Sunday.
There is no great time to travel to Merseyside for a meeting with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Or any Reds side in history, to be frank. Nevertheless, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has received an undisputable bonus before they meet.
Klopp’s side have so many injuries that they may even need to hand debuts to certain youth or use certain Under-23 players. Some of whom have a small amount of senior experience.

Rodgers has also been boosted in the opposite sense by the return to training of some of his best but currently injured players. Caglar Soyuncu and Wilfred Ndidi are practicing lightly; although their respective comebacks remain “weeks away”. While Ricardo Pereira is almost ready; the Portuguese will compete in a game for the Development squad next week.
In addition, Wesley Fofana is clear to play following a knee issue. While Timothy Castagne is available once again after he was absent for a trio of Leicester games. He will undoubtedly be eased in as a substitute for the Reds clash.
There is no reason for the northern Irishman to disregard the interchangeable 3-4-3 or 5-2-3 systems he’s known for using, especially this season, at the more tricky grounds away from King Power Stadium.
I’m not particularly a fan of employing a central midfielder – such as the amazing Dennis Praet – as a ploy winger or faux wingman. However, that strategy seems to work for Rodgers by nullifying the opponents – so who am I to criticise? Plus the Belgian even provides goal contributions.
Foxes of Leicester‘s predicted line-up for the east Midlands side, therefore, is as follows: Kasper Schmeichel (captain); Christian Fuchs, Jonny Evans, Fofana; James Justin, Luke Thomas; Papy Mendy, Youri Tielemans; James Maddison, Praet; Jamie Vardy.
