Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says that his Foxes team will fight right to the very end of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign for a top-four spot.

Leicester remain in three prestigious competitions this season: the English Premier League, the FA Cup and the Europa League. There is not much chance of the King Power outfit winning all three, or even two of the tournaments. Yet, it is feasible that the Foxes could possibly win one of them; the cup or UEL being far more likely than the division title, in Foxes of Leicester’s humble view.

Being victorious in either of those would be amazing for the club, along with delighting the fan base again beyond belief. And it certainly isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Kasper Schmeichel and/or Wes Morgan will lift a trophy this season.

Meanwhile, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers claims that his well-drilled and likeable squad “will fight right to the very end”. Rodgers said this when asked about the race for an EPL top-four place, as per Leicestershire Live.

According to the east Midlands club’s official website, the Foxes’ “elevated morale levels will be a source of motivation” when they play Brighton & Hove Albion in the cup on Wednesday evening. Luke Thomas was also interviewed – further fuelling FoL’s expectation that the youthful left-back will indeed start that game.

Below are the thoughtful, confident and optimistic feelings of Thomas going into the showdown:

"“As a team, we’re all really excited for the game. “We’re all really excited and we’re battling for a trophy. We all really want a trophy, and to win a competition, so if we keep going well, and keep hopefully winning games and give it our all out there on Wednesday, hopefully we’ll get through to the next round.”– Luke ThomasVia lcfc.com"
