Leicester set to miss out on world-class transfer target in summer
Leicester City are reportedly set to miss out on a world-class transfer target in summer 2021, as AC Milan are apparently close to signing Florian Thauvin for free.
France’s World Cup winner is certainly someone who would boost the general starting level options at King Power Stadium; or give the Foxes a perfect injection of bright-directness from the substitutes bench.
Yet, the Blue Army should provably brace themselves for a lesser-known incoming player than Thauvin in the off season. And the new face will possibly arrive for a fee which would be dwarfed by what Marseille’s midfield man should usually command.
However, the athlete is available for nothing at the end of the French Ligue 1 season. And AC Milan are said to be in poll position to secure the attack-minded 28-year-old’s services for the 2021/22 campaign in Serie A.

According to a report in Italy, carried by Caught Offside, the Rossoneri are close to acquiring les Olympiens’ current asset. Milan obviously still have more pulling power than LCFC, but arguably that be the case forever.
"Calciomercato report that Thauvin’s agents are continuing their negotiations with Milan and director of football Frederic Massara, with an agreement now close.(Jaikuran Randhawa of Caught Offside)"
Other Foxes news now – or former-Foxes news – you’re surely aware Demarai Gray and Islam Slimani departed from Filbert Way in January. With Gray joining German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen; while Slimani is at Lyon from the top division in France. Terribly predictably, both Ex-Leicester attackers managed to score on their debuts, with the Algerian supplying assists, too.
Although, everyone is aware that their league is insignificance when compared with the English Premier League. Foxes of Leicester are still of the opinion that it was the correct decision to remove the pair and their ridiculous wages at Leicester.
