The apparent pricetag of a supposed Leicester City target is revealed. While Liverpool are expected to sell an unwanted man the Foxes are eyeing.

Foxes of Leicester have two pieces of transfer speculation to bring to your attention today, Thursday April 8. As we near the summer window’s opening, talk will increase and rumours become wilder; meanwhile some truth emerges of clubs’ intentions, too.

Of late, I’ve been focussing on two positions in need of reinforcing – well, all of us have to be fair – at Leicester City: a striker, as well as an attacking midfielder. But to be honest, specialist left-backs is also an area that the Foxes could, or perhaps should, strengthen.

Josh Doig of Hibernian is a man in the frame in that respect, along with Fenerbahce’s defender Attila Szalai.

Nevertheless, this article turns attention to the possible acquisition of a central midfielder who can pull strings like Youri Tielemans, on his day. In addition to a fully in form attacking midfield man whom Leicester have been linked with in the recent past; not to mention him previously being a loanee on Filbert Way.

Two potential signings on Leicester City’s radar

Admittedly, when it comes to football I can be fairly fickle. A quickness to change one’s mind or alter an opinion in this sport obviously has something to do with the nature of the world’s greatest game: form is hugely important.

One example which exemplifies the right to switch an impression, is Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard: currently on loan at West Ham, Lingard is reviving his career like no other elite player that instantly springs to mind.

Leicester welcomed the forward-thinking, versatile athlete as a loanee from the Red Devils as a relatively fresh professional, and the Foxes were said to be interested in signing Lingard even before his transformation with the Hammers. United are said to have set a £30 million valuation of their asset, as per Daily Mail.

Liverpool’s Naby Keita is also on the King Power outfit’s radar, according to a report. It feels as though Keita is never going to be a regular starter at Anfield, therefore the Reds will listen to bids in the summer so the story goes.

Former Arsenal forward and contemporary pundit, Kevin Campbell, suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s team will consider a bid from Leicester. Again, around £30m should secure the Guinean, if Football Insider are correct.
