According to a report from national media in England, Leicester City are set to battle AC Milan for Three Lions Under-21 winger Noni Madueke.

This wafterDaily Mail claimed that Leicester are “lining up” a possible swoop for Chukwunonso “Noni” Tristan Madueke of PSV Eindhoven. Previously Madueke was already in England with Tottenham Hotspur, but left in 2018 in search of top-level matches and development of his personal game. Opportunities at Spurs were apparently going to be minimal at best.

Additionally, the Mail says current LCFC boss Brendan Rodgers tried but failed to acquire Madueke for his previous club Celtic, in Scotland. And the wingman fits the bill on Filbert Way as a left-footed attacker who plays on the right-side.

Possible Leicester City cash windfall

A few days ago, Mirror Sport published a piece stating that Premier League clubs including LCFC could benefit from an £83 million cash injection. This is due to Norwich City and Watford returning back to the English top-flight in 2021/22 after securing their respective promotions.

"But because Norwich and Watford will be back playing in the top flight next season, they will not receive their payments next year. That means that each club will receive a slice of the £83m would otherwise not be handed out, according to Kieran Maguire.Mirror Sport"

The spare funds have arisen from the fact that the Canaries and Hornets do not now qualify for parachute payments next season. However, it is not stared how much each EPL outfit will claim; Foxes fans will be hoping the extra finances are invested into transfers.
