Manager Brendan Rodgers spoke to the media ahead of the final game of the season. He answered the much-anticipated question that was looming in everybody’s mind. If we can expect the 37-year old Wes Morgan to take up a distinct role within the club’s management.
Here’s what the boss had to say:

"“We need to sit down in the summer and see where he’s at. He has ideas of what he wants to do. He needs to have a break first. I’m pretty sure there is a role for him here. It’s to help him with his ambitions, whether that’s coaching, as a director of football. We want to facilitate that.”– Brendan Rodgers on Wes Morgan, via Leicester Mercury."

Morgan has remained inactive for most of the last season due to a prolonged back issue. The captain needs a rest, and we can all appreciate his enormous contribution to this club.
