Leicester are in talks with Odsonne Edouard, confident of deal
If a report is to be believed, Leicester City are in talks with Odsonne Edouard or his representatives over a potential transfer. And the Foxes are said to be confident of an agreement with Celtic for the Frenchman.
Leicester apparently want to make three early acquisitions prior to the new 2021/22 season which begins in August. Hopefully these players will be appropriately qualified; though the Blue Army can rest fairly assured as their King Power owned team usually gets it right in the transfer market more often than not.
Ryan Bertrand and Boubakary Soumare are the initial pair expected to join the Foxes during this window. Although neither man has yet publicly committed to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, they are likely additions.
Bertrand is formerly of Southampton and an England international certified fullback. He’ll be a very good addition for free as Foxes of Leicester sees it. FoL will update you of any developments with the 31-year-old.
Soumare has just lifted the Ligue 1 title in France with Lille; he is thought to be monitored by larger sides than LCFC and is therefore considered a bit of a coup for the east Midlands outfit.
