Unfortunately for Leicester City supporters, they might well be waiting longer than expected for the Patson Daka transfer announcement, as explained by Foxes of Leicester.

Excitement will now reach fever pitch for England fans as the St George’s team somehow defeated Germany at a tournament to qualify for the Euros quarter-finals. It feels odd to even type that, trust me. And a similarly palpable optimism fills the Blue Army as they await Leicester City’s initial signing of 2021.

The first incoming player will perhaps be Patson Daka of RB Salzburg in Austria; the Zambian striker has already bid farewell to and thanked that club. Yet Daka remains in that country as of Tuesday, as he was maintaining fitness by using one of their gyms. According to a report, the 22-year-old may be required to isolate for a further 5-10 days when he finally arrives in England.

Leicester City reduce price to offload unnecessary signing

Who on earth at Leicester scouted Rachid Ghezzal? And who believed he could be the new Riyad Mahrez, apart from having a similar name? What, just ’cause he’s Algerian and left-footed LCFC signed him? Because that’s how it looks to some of the fans. For how amazing recruitment can be – this addition shows that any club can get it drastically wrong.

The guy never got a clear run in the team of Leicestershire, partly due to the unsatisfactory cameos he did supply. Now reports suggests the east Midlands outfit still cannot sell Ghezzal. And consequently the Foxes will reduce the asking price for the former Monaco man.

In fairness to the wingman, he has made a good impression at Besiktas; the Turkish side want to retain Ghezzal, and LCFC are said to have lowered their valuation to around €6million from the original figure of €10m, to push through a sale. Our information here comes via Sport Witness.
