Jamie Vardy is now reportedly a co-owner of a football team – but how will this new role affect his Leicester City status?

Imagine walking into work, albeit as a professional sportsperson, and finding out that Jamie Vardy is your new boss. He owns the team. ‘Vards’ is the Head Honcho – you get the idea! Then subsequently visualise the actual co-owner being the Foxes legend – surreal.

Well, some footballers will have that experience very soon as Vardy has acquired a minority stake in American football club Rochester Rhinos. Yeah, it’s true! They haven’t had a competitive team for four years but that will surely change with the tenacious striker at the helm.

What this means for Leicester City
