A Leicester City player is apparently in talks with a Premier League club about a possible transfer. Will Marc Albrighton agree to join Burnley?

Earlier on today, Sunday, Foxes of Leicester gave our view of the rumours that Marc Albrighton may leave; we assert he would in fact be a decent player to retain this summer as utility backup. And, on the other hand, it appears to be an opportune time to sell underwhelming winger/No.10/second striker, Ayoze Perez.

This situation arose because a transfer rumour emerged about the Foxes’ Premier League rivals Burnley’s supposed interest in the Birmingham-born wingman. Sean Dyche, the Clarets’ boss, is said to be an admirer of Albrighton; we all know the Lancashire side love a bargain in the market, as do LCFC.

dark. Next. Is Berardi a likely signing at Leicester?

Bringing Perez into a hypothetical scenario is my own personal suggestion – just in case, in the unlikely event, Jon Rudkin or Lee Congerton actually read articles from FoL’s website, or Google’s top trending Leicester-related pieces – as he has failed to live up to his huge pricetag of £30million since arriving on Filbert Way.

There is currently no speculaton surrounding the Spanish player’s future at LCFC; yet the consensus from the Blue Army, with regards to the comments I have been privy to, is sell, sell sell the Spaniard! While Perez’s transfer price is not his fault, he seemingly hasn’t got the skill set or determination to turn himself into a fan favourite at Leicester. The supporters would clearly much rather a specialist left-footed right-winger to join the east Midlands team.
