To be fair, Choudhury is very young and one from Leicester City’s academy. A loan move looks ideal for the player as well as the club to assess him. If Rodgers thinks to let him off for a loan offer in January, then it is understandable that there are very little to no plans for him at this moment. Rodgers wants to keep him around if things get messy, and he needs to use players as makeshifts if fortune turns unfavorable.

Ayoze Pérez

The performances of Ayoze have not been optimistically bright. There is no sugarcoating the fact that he has struggled for quite a long time now. You can present a lot of cases to defend him. How situations have not been ideal for him to showcase where he used to thrive, but Premier League is rapid.

There is no time for waiting if something doesn’t work out. Pérez does not pose the same threat that the fans fondly remember him. For us, he will only get minutes playing at the right-winger, second striker, and central attacking midfield position, only when Maddison is not playing.
