Other Leicester City updates ahead of Millwall clash

The other main return to the Leicester side is Ayoze Perez who has completed his 3 match-ban after his red card in the Premier League against West Ham.

We saw another glimpse of what Perez offers during the 2-2 draw against Napoli last Thursday – his finish was a belting one. With the suspension over, fans can expect a return to the side against Millwall as he regains much needed minutes.

Along with Perez, surely we will see the likes of Iheanacho, Lookman and Dewsbury-Hall all starting at The Den, as well as Daka.

Barnes, Tielemans and Vardy may all get rested, as well as Maddison who needs some time out of the squad.

If everything clicks well, then we may see quite an encouraging win against Millwall, though the Lions have history for taking the odd Premier League scalp – they knocked out Everton in a 3-2 thriller during their FA Cup campaign in 2019 – so City will have to be cautious.

Several players can make their claim to feature in a key fixture against Burnley at the weekend by playing well, and Leicester need a win to create some momentum ahead of facing Sean Dyche’s men.
