Leicester City fans were shocked to see Spartak Moscow lead the scoreline with 2-0 just before halftime. Unpredictably, Patson Daka changed the whole game.

Not one, not two, not even three! Daka scored all fours to take Leicester City from the fourth position to the second in their Europa League group. Brendan Rodgers is building something special again for the East Midlanders to rejoice upon as these comebacks are getting regular.

How did the squad perform, you ask? Well, here is our player rating for the game from Russia with love.

Leicester City player ratings-

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) – You cannot lay a finger on him for conceding the first goal as it took an unmerciful deflection to set Spartak rolling. Conceding the remaining goals, he could have done better but wasn’t backed by his defense, making his instincts look much worse. He dealt with a few threats here and there, and his place kicking looked the part. 5

Daniel Amartey (CB) – His slip caused Spartak to score their second, putting Leicester City in deep trouble ahead of the first half break. With being out of the starting line-up for so long, some mistakes are prone to happen. But overall, he stuck to his duties and did well enough for Rodgers to continue giving him chances often. 6
