James Maddison (AM) – The international break helped him to find his lost traits back. He looks like his former self again but stresses a lot to score one for himself for self-validation. Registered his first assist since February, with his known twist and turns helped him lay forward guided through balls for orchestration. 8

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) – Didn’t look perfect or graceful with his display but got the job done as only he can. Dropped often in the deep to release Daka on his own whenever there was a gap. With two assists to his name, he remains the perfect trump card for Rodgers to call in for desperate times in need. 9

Patson Daka (ST) – After chalking off his first goal for the Foxes, he raises the tally to five in two games scoring four goals in this fixture alone. Beautiful composure and finishing with his timed sprints make him the threat. The Zambian proves to be a rare find for City as he is just getting started. 10

Substitutes

Marc Albrighton – Worked tirelessly with limited minutes and defended well. 5

Hamza Choudhury – Nothing extravagant or noticeable but dealt well with the attacking players pitted against him. 5

Jannik Vestergaard – Looked shabby and was out of his depth in making any difficulty for Spartak’s last goal. Replacing Evans even for a few minutes was probably a lot to ask for. 3
