What the Leicester players are doing during the winter break
Foxes of Leicester take a look at what some of the Leicester City players are doing during their individual winter breaks as domestic football halts.
While many of the Leicester squad are enjoying themselves with family or holidaying, others are at, or have recently attended, the African Cup of Nations. Meanwhile some sides’ personnel are featuring in Asia and the Americas for World Cup qualifying.
Following the hiatus, LCFC meet Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup 6th Round, on February 6. The Foxes who are afforded time off as we speak are up to all sorts as they partake in a well-earned break.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was seen having a game of darts out in Leicester, and graciously took the time to have a photo with a fan.
James Maddison posted to social media at his happiness on a first trip to Harry Potter World.
Brendan Rodgers said before the time off that his roster were deserving of a rest. He added that it has been a challenging season for his men. Furthermore, the Northern Irishman spoke of the desire to get some proper training in ahead of the Forest match.

Apologies for the subheading above, because in truth Leicester City transfer news is a bit of an oxymoron at this stage. What I mean is, there are no legitimate updates; clubs don’t confirm targets and no bids have been confirmed by national media, etcetera.
All we have to go on at present is fairly unreliable, tentative hearsay from the footballing sphere. And this is disenchanting to be completely honest, due to the need for a centre-back. Even a temporary one would suffice; if not in the capacity of Ryan Bennett.
Do not get your hopes up for any King Power team business as the January transfer window expires. There may also be a worrying indication here that spending will dry up some what on Filbert Way because of the ever pressured pandemic environment. But let’s hope not.
