Some of the same players jeopardized a top-four finish last season similarly by breaking Covid protocols before facing West Ham. So why do the players have no responsibility or fear of the consequences of their actions? The manager is incompetent at handling players whose heads have turned. Their status as Premier League stars has made them feel invincible. They have had it far too easy. Moreover, there is a lack of proper veterans in the squad. It makes this squad venture directionless in and out of the pitch. They don’t suffer the consequences of their actions due to the clout they hold.
