Ademola Lookman: 8/10

Ademola Lookman proved once again he plays better on the left-hand side. On several occasions, he used his dribbling skills to escape tight areas and relieve pressure for the Foxes. He also put Maddison through for Leicester City’s best chance. It’s a shame that his work didn’t lead to more.

James Maddison: 7/10

Unsurprisingly, James Maddison was at the centre of most good things for Leicester City. For the opening half-hour, he got on the ball and created some dangerous opportunities. It was a shame that Leicester struggled to get him on the ball much thereafter.

Patson Daka: 5/10

Not the greatest showing from the Zambian, who was also on Liverpool’s radar at one point. To his defence, he lacked service but was well-marshalled by the Liverpool backline who didn’t allow him to utilise his pace.

Substitutes

Kelechi Iheanacho: 5/10

Brought on to provide a focal point up front, Kelechi failed to effectively hold up play and was not able to use the ball on the occasions he got the chance to. Again was rather isolated.

Youri Tielemans: 5/10

Showed exactly why he had been dropped from the side, failing to help the Foxes retain possession. Gave it away several times too which won’t help his current standing amongst some Leicester fans.

Harvey Barnes: 5/10

Unable to offer the same threats as Lookman, continuing what has been a disappointing season for the Countersthorpe-born winger. This may have been partly down to Liverpool’s dominance in the game.
