There’s still a chance Tielemans will sign new Leicester contract
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has denied reports that star midfielder Youri Tielemans has rejected an offer to extend his Foxes contract.
A goal boosted Tielemans’ contemporary status with the east Midlands club on Sunday versus West Ham United. It is not that Leicester fans don’t rate or appreciate the Belgian anymore. According BBC Sport, who spoke to Rodgers following the final whistle versus West Ham, Tielemans has not rejected a fresh deal. In addition, the boss states that it is within the realm of possibility that the ‘starman’ could re-sign.

Will Youri Tielemans remain at Leicester City beyond 2022?
Essentially the most prudent move for the Foxes would be to offload their asset in the upcoming preseason. Tielemans’ head is turned by the biggest outfits, in Foxes of Leicester’s view. Therefore a sale becomes necessity, so not to risk losing him for zero in 2023.
