Leicester City travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday evening. Here is Foxes of Leicester’s preview, predicted line-up and injury update.

Having previously beaten the Red Devils 4-2 in the home EPL fixture, the Foxes will be hoping to do the double over them in the return clash. Man United are sitting in sixth place after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in their last division outing. City will be looking to leapfrog Aston Villa into 9th as they set to close the gap on 8th position Wolverhampton Wanderers, with nine matches left to play.

Leicester City injury update

Luke Thomas has picked up a hamstring injury and is a doubt for this weekend’s clash. Wilfred Ndidi is out for the season after having an operation and looking to be back in June. The Foxes will also be without frontman Jamie Vardy as he is “not ready for the weekend”.  Harvey Barnes had a knock to his ankle, but Rodgers said he “has trained well this week”.

Predicted XI

The international break has been key for the East Midlands outfit to start getting more players back and ready. Wesley Fofana, Marc Albrighton and Jonny Evans all return to the squad. However, the Northern Irishman might not finish the full 90 minutes due to returning recently. My predicted Foxes eleven is:

Kasper Schmeichel (GK), Timothy Castagne (LB), Fofana (CB), Caglar Soyuncu (CB), James Justin (RB), Nampalys Mendy (DM) Youri Tielemans (CM), James Maddison (CM), Barnes (LW), Marc Albrighton (RW), Patson Daka (ST).

Although I don’t believe Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall deserves to be dropped from the squad ,Maddison is also really in form. Therefore it becomes so difficult to pick the midfield as no one deserves to be omitted. Looking at the defence, I believe Fofana will start and then later be replaced by Evans due to match fitness. I would also like to see Ricardo Pereira play at some point during the match and potentially replace Justin.
