Attackers

Harvey Barnes: 6.5/10- Scored a much-needed goal, being in the right place at the right time. Got into some dangerous positions but was unable to beat his man which remains a concern as he needs to offer more to cement himself as a first-choice winger.

James Maddison: 7.5/10- Tried and tried to make things happen but nothing came off, unfortunately. Along with KDH, Madders was at the heart of all good build-up play, including the goal. Had several decent chances to kill the game off but was frustrated this time.

Kelechi Iheanacho: 5/10- Brought back in to offer more of a focal point up front, Iheanacho did not take the chance to silence the doubters. He struggled to effectively link the play and had only a couple of half-chances.

Substitutes

Ademola Lookman: 5.5/10- Brought on to aid Leicester’s faltering attacking threat but unable to influence the game as he can do. Did not keep the ball or offer an incisive threat as he did last Thursday. Sharpness seemed lacking.

Patson Daka: 6/10- Worked hard and caused a nuisance up front in the last 15 minutes without much reward. Hopefully he shall be back amongst the goals soon.

Daniel Amartey: N/A- did not play for long enough to warrant a rating. Arguably it is negative of ‘BR’ to continuously bring on defenders with a one-goal lead.
