Jonny Evans: 7/10- He and Fofana bring much needed calm and authority to the Leicester City defence as he marshalled Everton’s attackers well throughout the game. Dragged out of position for Everton’s equaliser but hard to blame the goal on him.

Timothy Castagne: 6/10- Solid defensively from the Belgian with Everton favouring Ricardo’s side, but didn’t offer enough going forward.

Midfielders

Nampalys Mendy: 7.5/10- Bounced back from a poor weekend display with an assured performance at the base of midfield. Always an outlet for his teammates even when under pressure and retained the ball so well barring one occasion. His composure gave Leicester City control of the game and it was noticeable how the tide turned after his substitution.

Youri Tielemans: 5/10- Another lacklustre display from the Belgian as he continues his recent poor form. Today he didn’t do anything noticeably wrong but lacked the killer instinct with his passing and struggled to deal with dangers in transition due to his lack of pace.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 7.5/10- Worked his socks off as per usual, and caused real problems for the Everton backline with his movement and pressing. His ability to shield the ball and draw fouls under pressure is especially impressive. At the moment, ‘KDH’ is the lynchpin of the side and is the one most likely to make things happen.
