An exciting game developed, where Leicester City were dominating for large parts of the game. A.S. Roma’s goal via Lorenzo Pellegrini came completely out of nowhere and almost felt undeserved. In the 67th minute the Foxes found their equaliser after an own goal by Gianluca Mancini.

It looked like Leicester could find the winner as Harvey Barnes was left in plenty of space in the box, however James Maddison didn’t pull the ball back for Barnes who could’ve almost had a tap-in. After the 1-1 draw last night we pick out three things we have learned from the occasion.

Have we finally found how to improve the atmosphere?

After weeks of campaigning on LCFC twitter, how good was it to finally hear When You’re Smiling playing around the stadium before the match? Belting out the words with my dad, and hearing everyone else singing them too, it brings a tear to your eye. Finally, to see the King Power Stadium have some kind of an atmosphere it takes you back to the 2013/14 season when we first came up to the Premier League.

It certainly did it’s job in getting the atmosphere up at the game because wow, the KP was absolutely rocking last night. We need an anthem, a song that belongs to us, and Jersey Budd’s When You’re Smiling is just that, hopefully we will hear it in the final outings to come.

Sweet Caroline was another, however I do think that’s better left for the national games, but it’s still a brilliant song and it does it’s job to get the atmosphere going, because who doesn’t know the words to Sweet Caroline?
